Welcome to Linux Fundamentals

This course will teach you the procedures for installing, using, and administering Linux. The instructions and examples throughout the course will be given using the Red Hat™ distribution.

This course is set up as follows:

Each lesson begins with an introductory page. The introductory page has three key pieces of information:

  • Introduction — This paragraph will link what has been talked about in previous chapters with the material to be discussed in that chapter. It also discusses how the concepts in the chapter relate to things you'll actually be doing as a Linux administrator.
  • Objectives — A list of things you will be able to do when you complete the lesson.
  • The lesson material follows the introductory page.

Following the lesson material is a summary of the concepts discussed in the lesson.

Following the summary is a series of interactive questions with which you can test your mastery of the material covered in the lesson.
